Michael H. - The Power of the Mage
I am an audible subscriber, mostly history, educational, etc. Picked up this book to read on a cruise ship. I expected to read a chapter or two and put it down, reading doesn't hold my attention long. NOT THE CASE. I read 1/2 of the book before I realized it. The book was easy to follow, with many characters. An abundance of plot twists and turns. I thoroughly enjoyed the read. I could see a movie series in the future if this catches on. Count the days till the next books are released.

Lynda C. - The Power of the Mage
Great story; it keeps you turning the pages. Plenty of action, a little romance.. a nice balance. The characters are interesting, and you feel like you really know them. This is a perfect book for anyone to read. Can't wait for the sequel.
"Fantasy Plus Plenty of Action"
Laura T. - The Evil Within
This is the second book in the Knights of the Wind series so make sure you read the first one first or you may be lost.
In this second chapter Jarrod & his friends are trying to gain allegiances with powerful people in order to help save the world from the dark lord Tanin. Tanin has help & an evil plot brewing to turn Jarrod to the dark side. It’s a struggle for Jarrod to overcome this inner battle. Like many heroes he begins to believe he would be better on his own & his friends would be safer without him. But they all have a part to play in saving the world!
Together they are stronger but not invincible. There are still barriers in their paths & people need their help because the darkness has already penetrated some towns. They have to save those town’s rulers first if they have any hope in raising an army!
I like this series because the characters keep growing & changing. Jarrod, the main character’s struggles are something I think everyone can relate to. Trying to overcome your own darkness & self doubt & trust in others to help you. I like the fact that when his friends tell him he’s wrong about things he doesn’t fight back or get defensive or shut down, he listens & asks himself is there truth in what they’re saying? Then he uses that to change & better himself. That is something I don’t think many in our society do anymore so it’s nice to see it encouraged in a fun fantasy story.
All in all, great continuation of the 1st. It leaves you on a massive hook though, so on to book 3. Nice job to Michael’s!

About RB Michaels
RB Michaels was born in Champaign, Ill, and moved to Florida very young with his family. His inspiration started then while he enjoyed life in the woods and took to reading stories beginning with fantasy series. RB graduated from a small high school in Florida and continued on to College with a music scholarship. This didn't entirely work out, so RB joined the military, where he worked in the Naval Aviation field and went back to College to finish his BA degree.
